As Chief Credit Officer at Gateway First Bank, Pete Carey reviews Gateway’s loan portfolio on a continuing basis with the goal of guiding risk-appropriate growth. He also assists in the detection of deterioration in loan quality and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations.
Before joining Gateway, Pete served as Senior Vice President of Bank of Oklahoma. He has more than 35 years of banking experience and his knowledge in credit training, pricing models, collateral evaluation and risk rating has helped Gateway continue to grow as a company.
Pete earned his Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting and Finance from Oklahoma State University.
