Jeff Schmidt is President of Mortgage Banking at Gateway First Bank. His mortgage-banking and management experience spans over 40 years, and he has been a Gateway team member since 2010. He holds NMLS licensing in Texas and certifications from the Mortgage Bankers Association. He completed The School of Mortgage Bankers I and II and attended the American Institute of Banking. He is proficient in underwriting guidelines for FHA, VA, USDA, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac mortgages.
