As Chief Engagement Officer, Hobie specializes in company culture and employee engagement. He is also focused on helping over 1,600 team members become involved in the 40 local communities where Gateway is located. Gateway is committed to being active not only at the corporate level but also the individual level by providing matching contribution dollars based on a team members volunteer hour in their local community.
Hobie has been with Gateway for over 15 years, holding titles such as Originator, Retail Office Recruiter, and Chief Engagement Officer. Prior to joining Gateway, Hobie worked for the Williams Companies as a Power Trader and Mid-Market Originator.
Hobie graduated from Oklahoma State University where he majored in Journalism and Broadcasting. Hobie currently serves as a commissioner of the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Commission.
